Despite arriving to a snow covered track and facing some brutal elements during the afternoon, the University of Hartford men's and women's track and field teams turned in some impressive performances in its outdoor debut at the Stony Brook Quad Meet on Saturday. On the men's side, a pair of Hawks won their respective events while freshman Shania Homiski highlighted the women's side with a lifetime personal best in the javelin.
